I graduated with honors from Arizona State University with a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering. There, I also completed my pre-med work. Since then, I've had the opportunity to work on a variety of projects within my field of study, including medical devices and spacecraft. I have been accepted to medical school, and plan to enroll this year. While my background gives me a great foundation to tutor students of all ages in engineering, science, and math courses, I also love literature, history, anthropology, and English. In addition, I am able to help students prepare for several AP-level exams, the general SAT, and several SAT Subject Tests. Helping students as they work toward a solid grasp of a previously difficult subject is extremely gratifying for me. No matter which subject we are reviewing, I strive to teach each of my students how to become self-motivated, lifelong learners. I believe that when students have a passion for the subject they're studying, the related topics become more accessible. Right now, I am working as an engineer at NASA, but when I find free time, I love to spend time with my family, visit all kinds of museums, and go mountain biking.
